We are excited to announce that this year we will be utilizing the Venvi App to assist your navigation of the con. From within this app, you will be able to browse the convention schedule, favorite your panels of interest, and locate maps to help you find your way around.
How to use Venvi
First, go to your phone’s App Store and search for the Venvi application. Download the app and create an account.
Second, from the search bar, enter Carolina Furfare and select our con from the search results.
Let’s explore the application. From the Home Screen, you will see general information about the con.
Either on the left side or along the bottom, you will see a menu allowing you to explore your favorite events, search the schedule, or locate maps for navigation.
Let’s start with the schedule area. You will be able to select the day of the con along the bottom of your screen. Tapping into any of the events will display the location, map to, and description of the activities to be enjoyed. From the overview screen of the schedule, you can click on the magnifying glass to search across the con events to find what in which you are interested. While in an event, you can click the heart icon to add this event to your favorite list.
In the map area, you will find multiple maps that will help you find your way around the con as well as other important events during the weekend (like registration and the parade). On each day, the first map you see will be the focus for that day but clicking the arrows at the bottom will always allow you to scroll through all the maps available.
